Adam Scott started as Mark Scout in the Apple TV+ series Severance and gives an update on the upcoming season.
Adam confirmed that the filming for Severance season 2 has been completed.
The other cast members of the series include Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Tramell Tillman in its cast.
Adam shared his experience for the upcoming season filming.
In an interview with People about the script of season 3 he said, “My reaction was, ‘This is great’ I was thrilled and couldn’t wait to get there and get the cameras rolling and film it.”
He also shared his experience of filming with new cast members and his old castmates, along with director Ben Stiller.
He said, “Bob Balaban, Alia Shawkat, Gwendoline Christie, great. Robby Benson, incredible,” he added. “One of Ben Stiller’s superpowers, I think, is casting and finding the right people for roles. He’s really, really good at it.”
He also talked about the delay in production of season 2 due to the 2023, writers and actors strikes.
He said he and his castmates were very vigilant about the upcoming season material. “We had to be careful about our emails and our conversations about the next season and had to be super secretive about stuff, which is like… Jesus, just seven months ago, no one gave a s–t, and we were just making the show.”
Adam Continued. “It was just a byproduct of something landing. It was this surreal shift of the entire thing, having to take on this air of secrecy and security, which is fun. It’s really fun that people care and that we have to keep secrets and stuff.”
No official date for Severance season 2 has been announced yet, but it is expected to premiere on Apple TV+ in late 2024 or early 2025.
