As per Variety reports, Elisabeth Moss said:-

“The [scene] you see in the show is actually the second time we shot it, about six weeks later,”

“The first time we shot it I hit a wall the wrong way, let’s just say, and ended up lying on the roof for a couple hours.”

In this FX spy thriller, the actress plays an undercover MI6 agent (Imogen Salter) who defends against an attack on the city’s historic Grand Bazaar.

The actress has received special recognition for her stunts in Hollywood, and due to this, she performed a stunt in the shooting of “The Veil” in Istanbul in which she had to go on a roof but the stunt went wrong, and she got injured and kept sleeping unconsciously on the terrace for about 2 hours.

Continuing her point, the actress further says:-

“We actually shot the next day at the airport, those are the Paris airport scenes you see [in the episode], and I actually have, like, a broken back,”

“I tried to get them to put a green blanket over me, and just VFX me out. I was like, ‘Look, just put the green blanket over me and you can scrub me out in post.'”

You will see the scene where Moss was injured In episode 2, where Imogen has to escape from an attacker on a rooftop above the Grand Bazaar.

Moss said she continued filming without worrying about her injured condition and appeared in several subsequent scenes; she said:-

“Well, I didn’t know if we were going to be able to come back and shoot on this rooftop in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul,”

“It’s not like that is an easy thing to accomplish. But luckily, we, as a production, and then FX, thank God, let us go back and shoot it again. Which was incredible, an incredible opportunity.”

The new thriller series The Veil is scheduled to be released on April 30, 2024, on FX and Hulu.
