Your favorite anime character, Monkey D. Luffy, is ready to set sail and go on a sea voyage again. Are you ready, too? Last year, Netflix aired a live-action series titled “One Piece”, which was adapted from Eiichiro Oda‘s 1997 ongoing Japanese manga series of the same name.

Due to the craze of One Piece anime, Netflix’s live action series of the same name became very popular among the audience and anime lovers.

Despite it not even being a year since the release of its first season, Netflix has started preparing to bring the action of season 2 to the screens because has successfully translated beloved anime and manga into a captivating new medium.

Recent reports from What’s on Netflix confirm that they will begin filming Roots for Season 2. The latest exciting news has been received for One Piece Season 2 Filming.

Netflix’s One Piece Season 2 is reportedly set to begin filming this summer (June 2024 to January 2025.), with a new co-showrunner also expected to join the team for the next season.

Season 1 co-showrunner Matt Owens will also be joined by newcomer Joe Tracz, who will take over as former co-showrunner Steven Maeda, with Joe Tracz set to serve as executive producer.

Along with 20-year-old Mexican actor Iñaki Godoy, the other series cast includes Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero Gibson, Taz Skylar, Vincent Regan, Jeff Ward, and Morgan Davies.

According to netflix reports, casting for the new season has also been going on for the last few months.
